Got my new dress - now need shoes and bag! Help!

Have bought this for a wedding and it's gorgeous .

I have no idea what colour shoes to go for though. Would love to know your first instinct on looking at the dress?

The floral pattern is made up of peach/cream/dusky pink/slightly darker pinky red/pale blue.

I'm toying with the idea of a peach or pale pink petticoat underneath to maximise the 50's style of the frock but what direction would that send me re: shoe colour?

Would these go at all?

Not sure about a petticoat....have seen lots of people wearing them and I like them. But as you say where does that leave you WRT shoes?....

Hmm I'm not a fan of nude shoes. Think they've been done to death and are pretty drab. I usually go for vibrantly coloured shoes.

Matching the greeny/blue of the sash/straps has proved impossible and tbh would be a bit too matchy-matchy for me. I think I need to pick out one of the minor colours in the floral and go with that but I'm struggling to find anything.

Any shoe hunters around?

I've just bought these.

Love the vintagey-ness of them and the fact that they're t-bars and also the dull gold should be dead easy to match with a bag.

Bought the petticoat too so will see what it looks like and decide whether or not to wear it. Already have a gorgeous peachy/pink hair flower so nearly sorted .
