boden sizing shrunk

Went to a boden party this week. Is it just me or have boden sizes shrunk? I'm sure I haven't put on that much weight as I still fit my work clothes I had before I had my son, but after usually needing a 14 or even 12 I struggled to do the zip up on a 16! Wtf Johnnie?

I don't think they've necessarily shrunk overall, but their sizing does seem to vary a lot between one item/ style and another (that's the thing I find reviews useful for) and I can imagine it also varies from one season to the next too.

don't worry their sizing is all over the place, womens and childrens, even some of the reviews make no sense and i wonder if the person has actually tried the item or if they are writing about a different item. Talking of reviews i've wrote several good and bad and they were never published.

Best just to order a couple of sizes i find their customer services and returns very good.

The sizes have definitely changed over the last three years. On the plus side things are cut a lot less 'boxy' but I find that their clothes seem to be cut, now, for pear shapes. If you take their coats/ jackets for example, the complaints seem to be based around the fact that they are tight across the shoulders and arms and bust and voluminous below the waist. As for their cardigans-well anyone with a c cup or above struggle with gaping but if you go up a size it is baggy elsewhere. I really want to go in and sort the buggars out frankly as it's so irritating.

I particularly loathe the poochie puff thing they pop on the front of their empire line tops and dresses-just make the empire band stretchy or larger and , ta da, no mistaken maternity questions.

Agree re sizing being all over the shop.
I always found Boden tops too tight and short.
I bought dd1 a bikini recently and the bottoms were tiny and the top was massive, she's the average, slim 11 year old but it was as if the top was age 13/14 and the bottoms age 7 Confused
