Tone-Ups: would you wear them?

Having failed in my attempts to get myself a pair of comfy summer sandals that: 1) fit; 2) are wearable for walking longish distances and 3) don't make my short wide feet look gross, I am considering a pair of Tone-Ups for everyday. I need some height too. What's your experience of them?

I know they're not exactly pretty, but are they an option if all else has failed?

I tried fit flops and they were the least comfy shoes I've ever owned!

I have a couple of pairs of fitflops and wear them all the time with jeans/casual clothes. They work wonders for my achey feet!

I wouldn't wear them with smart/work clothes and they don't tone me up at all. But they are very comfy :)

Thaks both. I didn't make myself clear sorry - I actually meant the Skechers sort of fitness shoes - like MBTs - that are quite ugly (I think) but may be quite comfy and add a bit of height to me.

Incidentally - I think fit-flops are quite nice but are a bit too fl;at for me.
