Help Ladies. I've hovered here for a while. I've been single for a month so I'm not sure if I'm entirely doing the sensible thing here but hell ... only live once and all that jazz.

But what on earth to wear? I'm a size 16/18. I was thinking jeans, floaty cami and cardi with some white pumps but shrugs not really sure.

Any suggestions?

You need tp feel confortable. Is jeans and floaty top the kind of thing you usually wear? When you say pumps do you mean court shoes with a heel or posh trainers like converse?

Most men don't know a lot or care about fashion ( unless they work in fashion or meeja). As long as you look presentable, like you've made an effort but not too tarty, you will be ok

And congrats on the date. It doesn't matter if you are not sure about the guy/gal, it's only a few hours out your life. Lots of people don't make a wonderful first impression but are fab when you get to know them. I hope this person is one of them.

ooh how exciting.

I agree on jeans. Personally I would go for a figure hugging top though, and possibly a jacket instead of cardi (the more fitted the better).

Good luck.

I did think of jacket rather than cardi . . . I meant white leather ballet pumps. Floaty tops and jeans are kinda my signature making an effort style!

Id go for jeans, floaty top, little jacket and kitten heels or wedge sandals.

Good luck
