This is my favourite perfume, Guerlain Apres L'Ondee.

However, I need to find a cheaper perfume, but just as nice. I like the more delicate fragrances, and not chemically smelling, or too sweet. Not very good at beautiful descriptions, sorry.

Looking to spend £40 a bottle. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Marks and spencers do a good range of perfumes, I've had a couple of different ones from there which have been very nice.

I also tried one in Body Shop yesterday which I like called Love or sometjing.

Avon do a wide variety too. I've just bought one called Thaihitian Holiday as my holiday perfume it's very coconutty which i love ion the summer.

My 'signature' perfume has been Jean paul Gauktier for years but I always need a few cheaper ones for work and day.

Not quite sure what you're looking for but I used to get compliments when I wore Clinique Happy. I guess it's one of those slightly lemony fragrances but is more delicate than Clarins Eau Dynamisante.

Thanks. I dont want to have to have a perfume that is second rate in smell, just a perfume which is just as nice, but cheaper because it doesnt have the label, advertising costs or pretty packaging.

I cant afford to buy Guerlain Apres L'Ondee anymore.

I always find 'cheap' fragrances to smell quite synthetic to be honest. If there is such a fragrance out there, I'd be very interested to know about it!

You could always try getting some freebie samples at the beauty counters by feigning an interest
