Sorry I know this has probably been done to death already but you know what its like, you only read the threads that appeal to you at that particular time.

What mascara do you use and would you say its any good ?

Looking to buy a new one but a brief look in Boots at lunch utterly confused me so just wandered right back out. There had to have been about 100 choices across all the brands!!

Lancome Hypnose always seems to be a favourite on here, it's too pricy for me though.

I love Max Factor Masterpiece or 2000 Calorie. Always go back to them.

I love Clinique's High Impact Mascara.

Very disappointed with Estee Lauder 'MagnaScopic'.

One of the best, IME, is Bad Gal Lash by BeneFit.

I would always recommend Max Factor but the last one I got - false lash effect is awful - comes off and is a real let down. I may invest in a lancome one if the comments on here are anything to go by.

YSL Faux Cils - tried many others but none match up to this!

steben I have tried the false lash effect one from Max Factor too - highly rated but in my opinion utter shite too.

Blinc mascara is fantastic. For extra thickness & length, you can use their lash primer underneath.

Their eye lid primer is also excellent for keeping eye make up looking fresh all day.

I loved Lancome Hypnose but always found it went clumpy very quickly. Currently using YSL Faux Ccils and would definitely buy it again.

Boots no7 curly lash in the pewter tube. Has a curved wand and really curls my lashes. Best thing ever though is a lash tint and perm.

I love the maybelline ones. Have tried lancome, clarins, clinique etc etc but my all time faves are maybelline - especially the volume express colossal (yellow packaging). I wear contacts and buy the waterproof stuff and it is really good.

MAC Prolash is my favourite at the moment as it is a tubey mascara so washes off with hot water. I want to try Estee Lauder Double Wear as I'm told it does the same thing.

For a big night out I like YSL faux cils but just CBA to take it off every day.

Bobby Brown is absolutely fab - just love their makeup.

Have Chantecaille at moment and like it very much. Also like Clinique Naturally Glossy. I like a natural look as anything obviously mascara-y is aging at my age.

I like No 7 extreme definition at the moment

Laura Mercier does a nice one - no clumps etc, nice brush. Also, Chanel and Bobbi Brown are good.

Yes the laura mercer one is good too.

Badgal lash is my favourite
I find that my current blue tube has dried out v quickly, but otherwise would reccomend it
