Seriously ladies, my face every morning is all crumpled up Confused I try to sleep on my back but I am such a fidgety sleeper I end up all over the place and usually face down !!

Every morning my face resembles that of a shar pei dog... Luckily after washing and putting on creams it goes, but I am seriously worried one day my face is just going to stick like that Shock

Any tips for me ?? Somebody mentioned using silk pillowcases... anyone tried that ??

Thanks guys x

Watching with interest....

I'm 48 and find that, my right eye and cheek in the morning are all crumpled because my (unconcious self) tendency is, no matter where I start off, to roll onto my right side and burrow into the pillow. I look like a baddie out of a 1980's Bond movie first thing. And, as if that were'nt bad enough.....it now takes til lunchtime for the creases to fully drop out!!

Does anyone know if those (very expensive) memory foam pillows help? Don't they mould their form to your face/body shape?

Beyond that, maybe some form of restraint to MAKE me stay on my back. Head pointing at the ceiling.

I have been thinking along the same lines - Building some kind of 'enclosure' to keep me face up Grin

Funny enough its my right side which is affected too !!

In Japan, you can buy these kind of moisturising pads that you put on your face at night. They actually do work a bit but don't last very long.
Am sure they might be available here by now.

Memory foam, does't help me at all.

I've tried silk pillows in hotels. Not sure if they worked but too annoying as they're so slippy slidey.

Sleeping on your back -pillows either side of you to stop you rolling over?

I have tried the pillows either side...I just end up cuddling up to them - face down !!

Have tried some overnight pads for the face... And if you thought my husband was hysterical when he first saw them on before bed, you should have seen him in the morning they had moved and were stuck to my chin and forehead Shock

You could always have your arse fat sucked out and deposited into your face? Make it all spongey and firm?

sunshineatlast · 18/05/2011 15:47

I wish they would hurry up and invent them.. takes a couple of hours for my face to "unfurl" of a morning..

Grin I think my face pads used to come off too.
Not sure i'd want my arse fat on my face. Rather than wrinkly and saggy it would be lumpy.
