Orla Kiely

Have been desperate for an Orla Kiely bag or purse of some description for ages and DH has now decided to treat me...he feels guilty I think for having to work away so much! Last week he was in Kenya,today he's in Geneva and in 2 weeks time he's going to Saudi for a week!!

Anyway was having a look on website and quite like the look of the mini sling bag? Has anyone got one? Ive seen the dimensions and just wondered how much stuff you can actually get in it? Ive tried on one of the midi sling bags but Im tiny (4ft10) and it looks like Im carrying a suitcase!

Bit of a longshot but thought if anyone would know then you lot would!

I have the mini sling from winter 2010 collection. Like you, I am small at 5ft. I think it is a good size - holds my keys, purse, phone, book, ipod etc and still feels roomy

Oh fantastic...yep thats pretty much what I need to put in it as well! All the other stuff gets chucked in DS2's changing bag. Do you like yours (I realise thats obviously a daft question cause if not you wouldn't have it lol!) but you know what I mean!!

Wait another 8 weeks or so for the summer sales - they will be reduced between 20 - 50% off in John Lewis's, my wardrobe and also Orla Kiely online. (I own 1 midi sling and 1 maxi sling - both bought in the sales).

I think they've already started...well at least they have on orla kiely on line! The mini one i was looking at is now reduced to £65 and the purse that I wanted is £89 rather than £125! Thats the only reason I think DH gave in lol!
