i havent washed it yet admittedly but the cototn is SMOOTH and soft and the cut is great. I'm a 14 top and got a L as i didnt want it to cling

Almost all my t-shirts are uniqlo. And vests. And trousers, and skirts. (Went through a uniqlo phase ) Very nice and smooth next to skin.

I love Uniqlo, got several of their t-shirts and vests and they wash and wear really well. I started buying from them when M&S cotton went to the dogs and the t-shirts i bought from them shrunk badly after just one wash.

Yes it's a good weight cotton ime, not too thin and clingy like some.
