I look at Make Up Alley quite a lot but it's American so obv we don't get a lot of their products here. Does anyone know of anyone UK based make up review websites/blogs?

Bit shallow, I know, but I love make up. And products. Grin

pixiwoo review make up on their blog quite often. I think its called fashionface tv. They are make up artists so tend to reccie good products

I write a blog, am preparing various features on make up, in the meantime check out the products if you're interested in chemical free beauty!

Someone on MN recommended the Lisa Eldridge website and I think that's good especially for hints & tips on how to apply and get certain 'looks'.

chemical free beauty - srsly? You do know even water is a chemical?

fustyarse · 15/05/2011 11:49

I am looking more for a site that has loads of reviews fromits members of tons of products, rather than one person's opinions, iykwim - like MUA...

Beautyscribbler is great. She's not blogging that often now but there's loads of archive

Second the Lisa Eldridge website

Sali Hughes does excellent beauty reviews at guardian.co.uk...

It's not a blog but she takes an item - say, blusher - and tests 40 or so of them and tells you the best 5 or 6, and always includes a range of prices. Love it.

I do like MUA though, the reviews are very helpful.

skyebluepink · 15/05/2011 18:56

I use the boots website, Lisa Eldridge, and mumsnet!

brighthair · 15/05/2011 21:34

oops no Temptalia is American, but she always seems to review a lot of UK products hence why I hadn't noticed!
