Help me find a summer jacket to get me through my pregnancy!

Hi all,

I'm nearly 17 weeks, and hav a little bump already. I'm due 23/10 so need a jacket to get me through the whole of summer. I was on Google for ages last night, and most of the maternity coats I found are more wintery. I found a couple of macs, but they were pale / stone colour, and I don't suit those.

Pref don't want to spend more than £60.

Help!

I'm 27 weeks and have given up on the idea of jackets to be honest - there just aren't really any maternity ones and a normal one in a bigger size just looks boxy and crap, so I've stocked up on cheap cardis (£10 a go at Tesco) in a size or two bigger. When it rains, I, er, get wet! You could always wait until September time and get a proper maternity coat, then eBay it afterwards.

I'd agree jackets are very tricky when pregnant, I too stuck to mostly long cardigans. The only exception I can think of is a nice lightweight parka type jacket, they werent around when I had my DCs but think it might be worth trying? Along these lines

I got a regular non-maternity pea coat /mac and it saw me right through to October. It was from M&S and the buttons were just above the bump. A bit like this one: www.marksandspencer.com/Pure-Cotton-Single-Breasted-Poplin/dp/B004UINKPK?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_96&nodeId=43109030&sr=1-96&qid=1305396936
Not worth wasting good money on overpriced maternity wear. In fact, the only thing I really found useful was the Gap over-bump jeans. For the rest I had empire line tops from cheap high street stores a couple of sizes up.
