Help accesorize this dress!

I got this gorgeous Coast dress and matching bag to wear to my best friend's wedding at the end of September.

I'm guessing for shoes I should go for something cream coloured, but I'm a little worred I'll freeze to death if it's at all nippy. Any suggestions on what to wear with it to cover my shoulders for decency in the church / normal British weather?
