wobbly/saggy chin and jaw line! Any suggestions?

Help! My jawline is really starting to depress me. Have always had a bit of a double chin. Narrow jaw so nothing to hang it on! However, as the years go by (am 37) it looks more wobbly. Any exercises that people have found worked to firm up jawline and the bit under the chin? Or creams? Do those facial toner things work? E.g Tripollar or any others. I am not very disciplined but can cope with a couple of minutes a day morning and evening.

If anyone has any brilliant solutions I would be eternally grateful!!!

Thanks

It probably makes no difference but I tend to stretch my head back and gurn quite a lot (when I'm on my own obviously Grin). Now I think about it, I should probably stop so it doesnt become a habit that I'm unaware of doing in front of people.

I'm sure it was this woman my Mum saw on TV and started doing some of the exercises she demonstrated and it did help with her jowly bits.

Thanks - any particular gurning technique you would recommend Super!!!?? :-)

Beaumar, did think about buying Eva Fraser's DVD but realised I would not do all of it but maybe I can find just the chin exercises on You Tube and if it works there might be inspired to get the whole thing so I can look like that when I am 70! Have never been able to maintain any kind of exercise routine though! But thanks for the confirmation that it does work.

I posted this twice accidentally so thanks for the chewing exercise from the repeat thread.

My Mum does this one where she looks a bit like a chimp being presented with the most exciting banana its ever seen. If you can imagine that and reproduce it - your jowls will vanish.

Open your mouth into an O shape. "Wrap" your top and bottom lips over your upper and lower front teeth.

Tighten the muscles at the corners of your mouth. Imagine they are little knots that are very, very tight.

Keeping your lips tightly over your teeth, make a scooping action with your lower jaw, as if you are trying to scoop up icecream from a bowl. Make the scoop movement by consciously working the muscles at the corners of your mouth. You will look very silly Grin

Repeat 2x a day, with 40 repetitions each time.

After the 40 reps, hold the jaw still in the scooping position for 40 seconds.

Do all this daily for 3 weeks, then drop to 3x a week.

I did this, and my DD (20) thought I'd had "work" done on my face (she was at uni and hadn't seen me for a month).

I think it makes a difference and it may work for you too.

I have lent to book I got this exercise from to a friend, but if you gooogle facial exercises you'll find lots of offereings. I think my book was by an American with an Italian name.
