Will my mineral make up go cakey in the heat?

Going to the Canaries next week - it is 29C there at the moment - fantastic!
Been using the Lili Lolo Powder foundation for over a year now but never in heat like that.

It is prone to going a bit cakey on my chin in the afternoon here. Is it a lost cause abroad and should I take some liquid stuff instead?

I would just use sunscreen on my face for daytime and keep the make up for the evenings when it is cooler. I don't find make up for poolside or the beach necessary, and I don't think anyone notices or cares what you look like.
