sizing at zara?

if you are a size 14, what size do you buy in zara a medium or large? i want to order a dress online and have no idea how their sizing comes up, are they generally big/small/? thanks!

Large. Zara is ridiculously small

I would say a large. Having said that, I am a size 8 and have everything from XS to L from Zara in my wardrobe!

I agree that the sizing is very small, and sometimes inconsistent depending on what item you are buying. I'd order both and send one back. Returns are free and they collect them from you so you don't have to traipse to the post office!

I am 12/14 & find that I usually need XL at Zara. Very demoralising...

I would say L. Their sizing is completely bonkers though.

I am a 14, the XL barely fits. I used a lot when living in Spain, to aviod being demoralised by the sizes I always reminded myself that I was using XL but I was about a ft taller than most other girls shopping on the place.

God sounds like I should forget medium and go to xl, I will be snipping the label out of this one!

I'm a tall-ish 12 and I always start at XL in Zara and work down. It's too depressing otherwise.

I don't feel so bad now - I have a gorgeous Zara wrap dress in M that I bought from ebay (was described as being 12-14 hah!) that barely meets around my middle.

12-14 here with 34e boobs, I always buy XL in Zara. It's horrible but, has to be done.
I have been known to cut the labels off as XL is just too painful!
