What should I wear with this dress?

I am wearing this dress to a wedding:

I will be 37 weeks gone. It is a church wedding followed by a posh reception, so while I want to look glam for the party I don't want to be flashing the flesh in a church! What can I wear over it? Am leaning away from pashminas etc. as I will have my toddler with me and will be forever tugging it back over my shoulders while dealing with him.

Haven't chosen shoes yet so can co-ordinate once I have decided on a cover up...

Thanks!

Hello. Is it the blue version of the dress? It's lovely.

I think I would go for a pretty shrug-style cardi - one of the short, cropped ones - which will give you coverage but won't detract from the figure hugging silhouette of the dress, in a bright contrasting colour and match to shoes. I like the really bright fuschia pinks that are around at the mo. This would have the added bonus of probably being something you could get in a 'non-preg' size and use again.

Alternatively, I quite like this jacket:

Blue kaliko jacket could wear with or without sash thing

Or if that's going to be waaay too much blue, then they have it in purple too:

same in purple

(I was also going to link to some lovely bright pink Clarks slingbacks, but I think they've sold out . I have them and they are super comfy.)

Hopefully somone who knows what they are doing will be along to help you soon :)

Thanks SlobDylan - sadly it's the red version, so the lovely pinks you suggested probably wouldn't work.

I am now thinking a nice kimono jacket would work well, but struggling to find one to coordinate. Sigh - hate wedding season. Have 2 more 5 & 6 weeks after my due date, so dressing for them to accommodate br and disguise saggy belly should be a riot!
