Urgent help needed. A short, basic, black skirt required.

Who would have thought it would be so hard?!

I need a knee length, straight (not pencil/ sexy) black skirt. Cotton / canvas type fabric or cord would be ideal. I don't care if it's not fashionable. I just want a basic bottom half item which can sit unobtrusievly underneath whatever top half item I am wearing (and provide an alternative to jeans).

Anyone...? I know it's hard!

Hmm Safari one a bit too long. Plus buttons always pose the risk (for me at any rate) of post lunch 'strainage'.
