Are fascinators still naff?

Smart wedding in Scotland this summer. DP and I are planning to make a Highland road trip of it. Thing is, we have a 2-seater car with a tiny boot, and if we're both packing wedding outfits it'll be a straight choice between my packing a hat and either of us being able to bring a change of underwear Grin

Are fascinators still considered naff?

Agree - commando and a hat....

Jane054848 · 11/05/2011 15:50

The royal wedding analysis I heard said that fascinators are back.

Or, you could wear the hat in the car.

yes - awful things, and look very silly

BunnyLebowski · 11/05/2011 15:53

Yes the are and will be forevermore. They scream 'lack of style'.

OTheHugeManatee · 11/05/2011 15:57

I read those commentators who said fascinators were back as well. But I'm just not quite sure I believe it.

I'm not sure I want midge bites on my poor unprotected ladyparts though Shock

Normally naff but check out www.mairibrunning.co.uk/ the one I have is called hera ( if you have a look on the second page of millinary it's the last one in the third row. She does some lovely pieces, a lot nicer than anything I've seen in the shops.
