Small waited jeans for DS

DS is 2 1/2 and his age 2 jeans are far too short for him, but about 2" too big around the waist. I have looked everywhere for "skinny cut" jeans, but nothing. I know I could use a belt, but there is only so much you can suck in with a belt! The belt is doing the job with the age 2 jeans, but the age 3 are massive around his middle! So the question is, does anyone know of anywhere that sells long leg/ small waist jeans, or is there some kind of device on the market that could shrink the waist size?

My ds is skinny, I buy a lot from Sainsbury's, they actually size pretty big there but they tend to do a good range of trousers with adjustable waists (the elastic and buttons inside) and the legs are nice and long too.

I have some skinny jeans from next for ds3 and H&M do several types of jean fits (all with adj. waists which as Indith suggests are the business). I bought ds1 who is the skinniest of boys a pair of bright blue jeans at H&M the other week which are fab. I find both brands fairly long in the leg.
