Its for DDs christening in july

Is it too dressy? I was thinking of wearing it with natural espadrilles and a similar coloured cardigan. Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)

IS it a church thing? It is not doing much for the models boobs I have to say.

For me, it says evening meal on holiday, not christening.

BelovedCunt · 11/05/2011 11:56

it is like a nightie. or the sort of slips my mother used to wear

BelleEnd · 11/05/2011 11:58

You are going to have to have perfect proportions to get away with it... It would look like a sack on me

BunnyLebowski · 11/05/2011 12:04

Not appropriate for a christening at all imo.

And would only look good on people who look like the model in the pic.

Ginabraz · 11/05/2011 12:06

Pretty dress, but I wouldn't wear it to a christening.

HappyAsIAm · 11/05/2011 12:08

Its a bit beach/overseas holiday to me and not suitable for a christening. But I am a tad conservative.

SaggyHairyArse · 11/05/2011 12:13

I think it is a beach cover up and not really Christening material i'm afraid. I'd go for something dressier and also not strapless personally.

moominmad · 11/05/2011 12:23

I think its nice

NinjaTurtle · 11/05/2011 12:23

I had a feeling that would be the consensus. I think im going to have to drag myself to some shops to see what i can find. Thanks for the opinions ladies.

Not appropriate for a church service.

Looks like a nightie to me

SaggyHairyArse · 11/05/2011 12:26

I got a lovely dress for £20 in TKMaxx that I am going to wear to a wedding if that helps anyway :)

NinjaTurtle · 11/05/2011 12:43

Thanks for the TK Maxx tip, i usually avoid my local one, it resembles a jumble sale at the best of times! May have to venture in though.
Any thoughts on this?
