Well, this is it then. It's all downhill from here. I don't even have kids yet, how can I have grey hair already?!

Anyway, to avoid being confused as my future children's grandmother, I need to die my hair. I don't have 3 hours to sit in a salon so it needs to be a home one, preferably one safe for use in the hands of a complete numpty. Also we've just had the bathroom done so I need a non-splashy one. Can anyone recommend any brands?

Thanks

BelovedCunt · 11/05/2011 10:10

honestly 2 grey hairs you will not need to dye for ages

GoldenGreen · 11/05/2011 10:11

had 2 since I was 19. I think they've recently multiplied to a grand total of 4 (am now 35). So wouldn't worry just yet! Just pull them out.

BunnyLebowski · 11/05/2011 10:13

Oh give over! I'm 31 in May and have been about 30% grey for 5 years!!!

I was plucking out the occasional ones at 24!!!

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 11/05/2011 10:16

Don't dye if you have only 2.
Can you do some highlights?

FYI, I had my first few white hairs at your age, I am 42 now and only have a handful more (getting worse quickly now so thinking about getting highlights)

If you have dark hair, I would start by trying henna first.

Thanks for the sympathy everyone Grin Grin Grin

I have dark hair, but as everyone suggests I will pull out the offending 2 for the time being.

I am 26 and have hundreds of very obvious white hairs popping up left, right and flipping centre.

I have heard some nonsense that for every one you pull out, seven grow in its place, but suspect this to be untrue. However, I do salute magpies and wish them good morning religiously so not one to hedge my bets...

Only 2 - lucky you!

I started going grey in my 20s and now at 39 I've got a huge grey patch at the front.

I colour it of course - a mixture of home ones and salon ones.

My mum pulled a few out for the photos...for my first holy communion!
I was 7!
