what necklace with V neck dresses?

Are there any rules about what sort of necklace to wear with V neck dresses? I never know whether to go for a short one, above the V, or a long one? or choker style? Any ideas?

I wear short and long necklaces with v neck dresses. I never wear chokers as I don't like the feel of them around my neck. I might get this one next time I am near Accessorize.

Thanks dexter. That is a lovely one. Off to see how long 20 inches is! I have plenty of silver ones, but they never look quite right. They sit over my breasts and bunch up in the middle looking odd. Maybe I have to stick to the shorter ones.
