Can you help me find flat shoes that don't look like it belongs to my grandmother?

I need new shoes, flats or near, not too bulky (no trainers) probably slip on.
I walk a lot (probably several km per days) most of it carrying a toddler or pushing a pram. I have also to run after said toddler a lot.

I need something still stylish (shoe adorer) but comfortable. I do blister really easily (can't wear crocs because of the little dots inside).
Everybody recommend eco or geox or hush puppies, but it does look like something my late grandmother used to wear. Campers are too wide in my size.
I do like quirky shoes too.

Anything? not too expensive probably can spend 50 pounds if I get several years out of it but not 100s

TIA

I need some shoes like this too!! I live in trainers as it's easy to walk around and run after dc's in but I'd like to look a bit smarter.

However if anyone knows of a pair like this but for around £20 rather than £50 Blush

I bought a pair of these Clarks sandals in red in the sale at the end of last summer and they have been fantastic. So comfortable and surprisingly look quite trendy with skirts, jeans and shorts. I'm going to buy another pair this summer - I dont think I can wait until August for the sale. Reviews on the Clarks website are all good.
I have quite narrow feet and always struggle to find comfortable summer shoes. These come up quite small and I had to size up.

I am well-known as a "Cornish Pasty" aficionado so you may not like any of my suggestions ... but I do have supremely comfortable feet!

I have these and they are very supportive. Not funky but perhaps classic?

There are other models in more zingy colours on the site.

these for example

Or Cath Kidston - I have the plimsolls and the pumps and they are very comfy.

Or I love Josef Seibel.

keds are really comfy but possibly a bit too trainerish for you.

I think these clarks are pretty funky

Brogues?

pumps?

loafer?

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 10/05/2011 10:04

Thanks it helped.
I like those, but not looking for sandals. And your brogues in red tethersend.
may be

way too expensive to love the silver ones

VSM why not those? They have a thinner fit than vans and converse, which are too much trainers form me.

Thanks for all of these. Love the clarks pump things (though I have never bought clarks in my life!!). Actually was looking on ebay and found some skechers pumps which I like they are very cheap at teh moment but there is 4 days left so will probably go up.
