Cannot find other thread Chanel lipstick ad, what colour is Vanessa wearing?

(have never posted such a frivolous thread on MN but am feeling old and in need of buying myself a little unnecessary something)

Someone said last week it was Boy, but I've just googled and on the Vogue website it says its Mademoiselle.

I want the one on the tv ad, where she's whistling and looking sublime...which one is it, oh style gurus?

i understood it was mademoiselle in the ads in mags - haven't seen the tv ad

I wanted it and the lady on the Chanel counter in Debenhams told me it was Boy and that's what I bought . . . .

Thankyou....Kisschase, does it look like it does on the ad? Because on the colour chart thingies it looks quite brown, whereas Mademoiselle looks pinker?

It's Rouge Coco lipstick in Mademoiselle (05) isn't it from the oldish TV ad?

Boy (number 54) is from the new of Rouge Coco shine range. I don't know the ad so the Chanel counter lady may be right if it's brand new and to advertise the Coco shine range.

Bucharest - Morag is right, it's Mademoiselle if you are looking at a Rouge Coco ad, and Boy if you are looking at a Rouge Coco Shine ad! (Sorry, I don't know the adverts so I don't know about Vanessa Paradis whistling...)

Mademoiselle is a kind of browny pink, Boy is more sheer pinky peach. But the formulations are quite different (RC is a lipstick, RCS much more sheer and gloss-like) so if you can get to some testers that would help. (I love them both ...)

Have looked at videos, and it's the one NotfromConcentrate linked to.

So it's Boy (shine) I want? Which sounds good,because I haven't worn proper lipstick for so long something sheerer might be better to dip my toes into!

Can't see the vid as am at work, but I can highly recommend Boy (in fact I have just reapplied it ). One of the more foolproof Coco Shine shades (some of the others come out a bit oddly)

Just has a look on You Tube and the ad where she's whistling "What a day for a daydream" is the Rouge coco Mademoiselle. Can't open the link from notfromconcentrate.

Coco shine in Boy is lovely however, nice and light. Not a patch on Chantecaille lip chics though.

Notfromconcentrate's vid is the one where she's singing what a day for a daydream! (looks more like a lipstick than a shiney gloss though, and more brown than pink!)

I think I'd better wait till I can get to a counter, am utterly confused now! (but am fairly corpselike myself, so Boy will prob be OK!)
