Flats - opinions please!

Well, after years of mangling my feet in cheap new look/topshop ballerinas I have decided to invest in some higher end ones.

I have my eye on some Tory Burch ones, but does anyone have any experience of these - what is the comfort/quality likes?

Or would I be better off with French Sole/Pretty Ballerinas/any others?

Thanks!

I don't know about Tory Burch flats. I love all her things but I've never tried the flats on.
There is a fabulous shop on the King's Road called Blue Velvet that does every colour/shape/style of flat imaginable for a lot cheaper than French Sole.

Ooh thanks takIngchances will pop down to the King's Road for a nosey (good excuse to go too!)

Do you know how the sizes come up?

Bang-on normally. I'm a 37 and their 37 fits just fine. I still wouldn't order online though because pumps and flats can be funny (but as you say nice excuse to go to KR!)

I only wear flats and can vouch for Pretty B's, however, ensure you get a model with leather lining not fabric!
French Sole are also fab but they do stretch a bit....

Have you tried bloch ballerina's? I can not tell you how comfortable they are after years of wearing cheap topshop ones these are like walking in cotton wool in comparison!

LK Bennett flats are great and if you can get them with a discount (they do vouchers in magazines every now and then are affordable round the £60 mark as opposed to £79).

I also have to say i really rate office flats and they tend to be around £50.

I have my eye on these LKB ones
and
these office ones in navy

HTH.

whoneedssleepanyway - I like those LKB ones but I am really looking for leather (and for some reason I have a hankering for a snake print)...

LankyLegs - I had heard Blochs were good, and that they occasionally pop up in TK Maxx - will have to stake out my local branch.

Thanks for all your help ladies!
