i need a jacket but i am tall with shoulders like an olympic swimmer - help

...well not quite but not far off. i am 5'10 with relatively wide shoulders and long arms, haven't bought a jacket for 4 years (can't believe this myself) and old one is falling apart. have tried several of the highstreet shops so far and every bloody single jacket I try on is far too tight around my back/shoulders and sleeves are always too short. I just want a simply jacket I can put into the washing machine (have a toddler and a baby and get regularly burped and vomitted on )

anybody else with my proportions around who has any recommendations?

Yes I have the same problem, long arms and wide shoulders, otherwise a size 12.
I have tried long tall Sally , great for arm length but still tight around the back.
I end up getting jackets from the mens ranges in small, fat face, gap unisex looking khaki and waterproofs that wash.
I have one fantastic camel jacket from of all places next that fits like a glove, not a single other item from next fits[Confused]
All other shirts/tablets are 3/4 length sleeves.

haven't thought about looking at men's collections. good idea (I am not v girly so this might work for me ;-) thanks for the tipp!

next is just hopeless for me. I need to work myself up to size 20 to find a jacket that isn't too tight around shoulders :(
