It's for a wedding ((((sigh))))

Hotel type affair, city centre.

Am 29, size 14, 5"2

Would like something

With straps or sleeves. Feel too naked for wedding in strapless

Not too short, couple of inches above knee max, although would consider maxi

Hides mum-tum, but makes most of good cleavage, I tend to suit structured, fitted stuff rather that floaty that is in just now that makes me look sack like

Happy to wear high high heels.

Have spent the past 3 weeks trailing shops, wnd am loosing the will to live. Every seems to be aimed at under 20's or over 40's, although given that it's dh's best mates wedding and they are both 45, I would prefer something older than younger IYKWIM.

Bought VW anglomania in pink but sent it back as looked rubbish.

Any advice would be greatly appreciates.

Any help would be

I thought I was an autumn, and I could wear the brown one, but I usually avoid orange like the plague. I look vile in powder blue, beige, grey-green and peach/orange.

I might buy that brown one though. And the Jaeger one. Such bargainous bargains. Blush

I'm umming and ahhing about getting this for work...

FellatioNelson · 07/05/2011 20:34

Hmmm. It's not really doing it for me Teths. But I always look at things with my 'could I wear it and do it justice' head on. and it definitely wouldn't suit me. I think the big wavy bands are not very sophisticated, which is fine, sometimed 'fun' is enough, but you expect sophistated from Jaeger.

Does anyone know what the sizing for Damsel in a Dress is like? I'm going to order that brown wrap dress.

tethersend · 07/05/2011 20:40

People on the other thread said D ina D sizing was coming up small...

Hmm, still not sure about the dress. Thought with tan belt and shoes....?

I love that Joules one in the floral print - but sadly it didn't love me. The 12 was far too big across the back/shoulders/neck but the 10 wouldn't have fit my norks in. :(

FellatioNelson · 07/05/2011 20:49

Oh if it come up small I can't buy it. It's my new rule. If they don't do flattery sizing I won't shop there. Grin

Jaegar ordered Grin
