short purple dress and black support stockings: What shoe colour?

I'm going to a wedding and as I'm pregnant I only have a limited choice in my wardrobe. I'm going to wear the last season version of this in a rather dark purple. I will have to wear support stockings for my lovely varicose veins. They are black, the skin colour ones that I have are not an option because they are really ugly and not skin colour at all. So what kind of shoes should I wear?
I couldn't find any good purple ones so far.
Nude/beige ones (as I would have a pashmina if it gets too cold and a handbag in a similar colour) like these? I'm not sure about the style but they are actually really comfortable. Or would it have to be rather light pink?
Or how about red? (Once again I would already have a handbag)
Or plain black. Which I would find a bit boring.

I had a purple dress for a wedding when I weas v pregnant and went for platinum coloured shoes in the end.

I didn't wear tights though, so not sure how that would have looked with black tights.

Personally I'd just go for black shoes but I tend to look pretty 'safe' when I'm pregant.

I think black would be the right choice with black tights.

Could you not consider a maxi dress?

Thanks for your opinions. I guess black would be the best option, I just feel it is a bit boring. I guess I shouldn't make a big deal out of it. After all, I'm not the bride. It's just the only occasion to dress up a bit. But that is also the reason why I do not want to spend too much money on new things which I am probably not going to wear anymore. New shoes would be ok as my favourite ones for occasions (pretty and comfortable) got too small so I need new ones anyway!!!! I blame my pregnancies for that.
And second reason against a maxi dress is that I think I might look rather fat than pregnant as I will be only 25 weeks. So I prefer showing my skinny legs under the watermelon :)

I like that dress very much and I would go for a mainly black shoe with a bit of silver or purple detailing like these
