Can I wear black tights in warm weather?

It's not scorching today but quite mild and I've got a big bruise on my leg. Was thinking of wearing trousers on a night out tonight but have got a really lovely dress I could wear but don't want to show my white bruised legs.

Would it look silly?

I agree, should be fine, but sheer might be better than thick.

You can wear what you like, whenever you like!! however to answer your question no you won't look silly, lovely dresses are meant to be worn, enjoy your night out
