Went to a Boden party the other day, thought I'd share...

Just thought I'd share my experience in case anyone was interested...

It was held at a local primary school as party of a ladies pamper night type thing so there were other stalls in the hall, and one of the buildings had manicures etc.. Anyway there was a classroom with about 5 rails of clothes, so they had most styles in a couple of sizes/colours. You don't have to order on the night, just take the codes home and order over the next week. It was 20% off everything, or if you bought 3 things you get the 4th for £1. Also if you took someone with you who was a new customer and they bought something then you get £25 of credit to your account.

So...I tried on loads of stuff (confirmed their trousers don't fit me at all) and it was really nice to actually see everything. Saw 2 things I liked, so I filled out a form saying I'd taken my Mum and my sister (not Boden customers) with me, and got them to order me one item each. Items were 20% off and they emailed me a few days later to say I've got £50 credit with them! Result!

They had a few of the Jonnie B teenage things, including a really nice denim jacket (never thought about looking at that range before) which is out of stock, but if they get it back I can have that using my credit, bargain!

Not sure it's worth it as a host, you get 5% of the sales as commission but as there's no incentive to order on the night I think you'd lose lots of potential sales. But as a customer I think I'd definitely go again if there was one nearby.

That's it really.
