ballgown /cocktail dress

does any one no of any great places shops or on line where i can get a fantastic cocktail dress or ball gown type dress?.

don't know I'm afraid but just had to say there is a big difference (ball = full length, cocktail = knee to mid calf length) so if you're going to a formal (especially a military type) function you need to be clear precisely what the dress code is to avoid a social faux pas (and mega evil eyes from the Alpha females!!! good luck & hope you have a fab time.

im liking fcuk at the moment, the victoria knot dress is very nice.
i never wear dresses or skirts so this will be bit strange.
looking forward to it and i get to see my partner in a tux.
