Good workwear - not too expensive

I recently returned to work and work in a fairly smart conservative office. I've bought a few dresses from M&S but desperately need some more clothes. Can anyone suggest some items that I can co-ordinate with other items in my wardrobe (mostly beige, navy, black). I don't like spending too much - M&S pricing or similar.

Hi, I find Oasis particularly good for smart work wear - separates, dresses etc.

Love the LK Bennett dress and the Jaeger one - unfortunately both out of stock in my size :(

I do like some things in Oasis occasionally but find it a little 'young' these days - how sad is that!
