thinking of upgrading to wet/dry epilator - are they worth it?

have had a Braun one for a while and am a mission to er keep on top of hair removal now. had wax a few weeks back and want to maintain smoothness.

is my birthday in a few weeks so was thinking of treating (?) myself to one of those epilators that can be used in the bath/shower in the hope it might be more comfortable. so, any experiences or recommendations?

I got one and was not impressed. No easier and have to keep it charged up; have gone back to the old plug in Braun and wish hadn't wasted the money

when i researched mine it seemed popular opinion that the pricier ones were noticeably less painful - not sure if this is still the case or if the cheaper ones have improved over the last couple of years....

they have some panasonic ones on qvc too (can at least try for a month and send back if not up to scratch)

thanks FA
