Im sending them all back. Yes, all four of them. I blue one, the one I only ever wore is like a rag after washing. I cant believe they expect people to pay £39 for them. I never of, course Wink

Which one do you mean - chic Wink boat neck or linen T?

kitkatya · 05/05/2011 17:30

linen T. Im gutted after washing it. I will be complaining! Smile

oh no! I have one of those but not washed it yet.

Shall be very annoyed if mine does the same.

kitkatya · 05/05/2011 17:53

I cant explain it. It looks like it has been washed twenty times, not one. I suppose if you like the faded look it will be ok.

did you wash it yet?

I have the silver/light grey and have just received the sea green today - as well as the sea green floral cotton top Blush. I have washed the silver once and have to say it washed better than I expected... I did think it had the potential to go raggy but not. It has retained it's shape and still looks new.

You should definitely complain if you have had a bad experience. I returned the breezy T in white because after one wash that was creased as hell and no amount of ironing could save it - cheap thin material - they refunded without question.

their knitwear is crapola ime

flowery · 09/05/2011 10:24

I have this in two colours and they've both washed up fine tbh.

kitkatya · 09/05/2011 10:29

I just think for the money, £39.99 (not that I paid that) they shouldve been abit more substantial. I was expecting them to me not so fine.

I got them in the mid season sale and was also able to use my 15% discount on top so worked out much cheaper than £39.99. For what I paid for them, I am happy with them. I wonder with the dark blue being a darker shade than the ones I have, if that makes it appear more washed out / faded / worn??

wendihouse22 · 09/05/2011 11:02

I do think Johhny's having a laff!

Way over-priced for the quality and frankly, the sizes are ALL OVER THE PLACE.

kitkatya · 09/05/2011 11:25

he's been quiet on the discount front lately. I saw him on the rich list yesterday that he's worth £310 million!! from those clothes?

The quality has gone right down but we've been saying it for ages.

Bloody hell - £310 million!!!!! Ladies, we have no one to blame but ourselves Wink

sprinkles77 · 09/05/2011 14:42

the stuff looks nice in the catalogue, but really disappointed with quality and fit. I'd only get stuff there if on sale and I had a voucher.

Meggles76 · 09/05/2011 15:01

I don't know anybody who pays full price for Boden. I never buy anything from there unless I can get at least 15% off price and free P&P. However, I suspect that Johnnie accounts for this fact and therefore pushes his prices up in the first place Angry

I think some stuff is good quality and other stuff not so. DD has some lovely dresses from there that wash and wash and I buy all DS's PJs there and have never found better. DH also has some casual shirts that keep going and going. I have some nice sunglasses, scarves, cotton tops and merion wool pieces that I am pleased with. I am less keen on their wool mix stuff as it does not seem to wash well.

kitkatya · 10/05/2011 13:54

I could do with one of those vouchers things or a good spend £30 get £10 off code before I go away. Smile

i got this at one of their big sales for £25
