I've been using chantecaille 'just skin' tinted moisturiser for a couple of years now and like everything about it apart from the price ...

can anyone recommend a good tinted moisturiser that won't put such a dent in my bank balance

or should I think that as I had my 48th birthday a couple of days ago that I need all the help I can get and should economise on things like the kids' food instead?? Wink

I have just bought the Clinique Moisture Surge tinted moisturiser and am very pleased with it. Good range of shades to choose from and it feels light on but the coverage is lovely. It was £20.

I tested a few recently and ended up with Boots No7 Triple Protection. It was half the price and looked natural on my skin.

I use the Laura Mercier oil free one in Nude. It is utterly fabulous. I find the oil free one more moisturising than the regular one, weirdly. The best thing about it is the coverage is buildable, so you can apply an extra layer over any dodgy bits imperfections and it covers it seamlessly.

Sorry accessorizequeen - not paying attention! Yes, the Kiehl's range seems to emphasise natural ingredients.

accessorizequeen I don't think kiehl's is a good choice if you are looking for a product with less chemicals. I walked past the kiehl's shop with a friend, we are both into natural/non toxic beauty I and mentioned I had seen a bottle of something by them in tk maxx and she told me she'd looked at a bottle and it had lots of nasties in it. hth
