Has anyone got good reports of a Chemical Peel?

I remember in Sex and the City Samantha being told it could take 5-10 years off but when I read about them online it just talks about small adjustments?

Is it worth it? A 'medium' strength chemical peel costs about £400 (including pre treatment you do yourself for a month at home) at that new Superdrug 'Cosmedoctor' salon.

Anyone had good results from one?

I've seen some persuasive before and after shots. My facial lady was trying to get me to have one to minimise freckles and age spots etc but it was the state of my face immediately afterwards i was worried about

I'm trying an Avon Lightening serum each night to see if I can mimic effects!

I was quoted about £200 FWIW but every 3 mths or so. Too £££!

The before and after shots are ok on the Cosmedoctor site - not radical though.

I have a really weird patch (basicaly where all my freckles join up) under one eye every summer - even though I always wear spf's.

I have a few light wrinkles and there is a little sagging round the jaw and one frown line just starting to appear on my forehead.

I had no idea you had to have a course of them - I couldn't do that as I couldn't look frightening at work Grin

I was just hoping for one 'go' before my 40th. And expecting miracles obviously.

I think you could expect to see some improvement but the shots I was shown actually at the clinic were not mind blowing.

this is what I have just strated using. The reviews seem very good too soon to see any great change altho my skin tone has def been more even
