Are there sizings true to size normally?

It really depends on the style. They used to do half sizes so I would get a 40.5 but they stopped that a couple of years ago and have introduced half sizes in 5's and 6 I think but not others which is really annoying. I sometimes have a 40 and sometimes have a 41 depending on the cut. They also use different factories so every pair can be slightly different. Best thing is to go to the shop and try on. Beware of the Shilo shoe as it has huge toe cleavage, a very bad cut of shoe that you now allways see in the outlets because no-one is buying them!

I think that the clothes are sometimes a little on the small size - especially with the knitwear I usually try to go big rather than small.

I think Shilo is a very comfortable shoe - different shoes suit different people obviously. I am only a 37 and it is generous on the width which suits me.
For their clothes dresses are generous (I take an 8 when often a 10 elsewhere) but knitwear I agree can be on the small side.

I find shoe sizes on the small side and so do other friends. I go up a half size, I actually stopped buying their shoes few years ago as were so uncomfortable (inc wedding day shoes, which were agony) but have recently bought a pair of camel snoop which are fine.

Thanks for the info I dont live in the UK so trying on is not possible. Have just bought a dress in a size 14 so was wondering if i had made a mistake and will regret it when it gets here. Liked it though, so didn't want to miss out as its on sale.
