Where do I find nice stylish shoes for E-EE width?

I cannot find nice shoes for my wide feet - they are all either too "old lady" or boring and frumpy. I am 54, but I want to look fashionable and be comfortable at the same time - especially for work or going out with DH!

Can anyone help?

What sort of thing are you after?

Try Evans and Marisota- you have to wade through the crap, but there's some nice ones there.

Or Duo, but they are pricier.

Next do a wide fit range, as do New Look.

It depends what you're after, but have you tried Rieker or Gabor? I've got exactly the same problem as you, and struggle to find summer sandals as they're all too narrow. I bought a pair of the Sketcher PVA sole (thick) flip flops, and they're fine. Apparently German makes are made wider. Also try Shoe Tailor.

Van Dal and Gabor make shoes for wide feet. I've bought smart work shoes and slightly smarter dressy shoes by them in the past. Don't know what they're like for sandals, but they were the only heeled shoes I was ever comfortable in.

Can second Gabor - lovely sandals, and usually designed in a way that hides bunions! Next too - though in boots, they assume wide feet = fat calves Confused

my feet are very wide and deep too, I usually find something in Evans - even sparkly 4" heels for New Year.

Will check out Gabor too, thanks for that tip [csmile]

Thanks for those ideas. Just want some elegant heels for once!

Have you tried M&S? I have very wide feet but often find shoes to fit there. Or there's always Hotter.

I would second Next - they do both wide and extra wide fit.

I bought these for a black tie do last year, they fitted really well and didnt rub at all.

I have bought some gorgeous and much admired red suede wedges from The Shoe Tailor.
