What would you wear for this occasion?

I have an interview next week. In the art dept (as a technician) of a nearby public school.

After speaking with the haed of dept today, it all seems rather informal and friendly.

What on earth shall I wear? It seems wrong somehow to arrive all suited and booted - I feel I should look 'creative' and dress down a bit. Ideas please?

Keep a neutral background whether it be brown, grey,black in one tone but go to town on some statement jewellery and a slash of dramatic lipstick.

I would probably avoid jeans - but also avoid a suit! Perhaps a reasonably casual dress with relaxed shoes, or some flattering trousers with a top you like? Basically stuff you feel confident in.

I'd feel over-done if I wore a dress in the daytime! Maybe some linen trousers and a tidy top! I have a nice little stone-coloured short jacket from Monsoon...That usually smartens things up a bit.
