Good morning.

On the train from Edinburgh to Cumbria to pick up DS and then our mammoth six hour drive home.

Wore my houlihans in Edinburgh, really happy with them. Was able to wear with ballet flats and light grey sweater in the day and then changed for heels and blazer for dinner.

Any potential trench buyers take heed, my Zara mac is driving me made. Ant be dry cleaned, so I washed and ironed it but now the lining is all wrinkly. Had to replace all the buttons too as falling off. Next spring I am going to invest in a good trench. I suppose the Zara one has made me realise what a great wardrobe stable they are though.

Off to look at old links, drink coffee and relax. Have missed DS terribly, but have loved this time of just doing this in peace.

Thanks for the new title WAN - your trip away sounded lovely (minus hangover of course!). Your houlihans sound like a versatile fixture in your wardrobe - I must get my houli-likies shortened as I think they would look better cropped to just above my ankle.

Just looked at the pics of all the trees going into Westminster Abbey - that will raise a few eyebrows I should think! I can't wait to see Kate's dress. You will be pleased to know that I will be flying a Union Jack from our flagpole on Friday (Rule Rule Britannia and all that!)

The Royal Smileys really made me smile [csmile]

Hello Smile

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Looking forward to the next one too!

ny I liked both of those TS flares and agree zembo's looked fab but one of them comes in a standard 32 leg and the other also comes in a 34 so that might make your mind up for you as I'd imagine you'd need the longer length, especially with wedges etc.

Glad you had a lovely holiday dolce and a fab trip wideawake.

wideawake Thanks for starting a new thread and happy reunion with DS!

ollie DD and I are ridiculously (and inappropriately) excited about the wedding. DD asked why we are not invited as she knows where William's grandmother lives [csmile].

I'm making the most of my boss's absence by leaving work on time, bliss! I am having a mani/pedi and later this afternoon appointment for colour at hairdresser's. Have to take DD this afternoon and hope I can keep her entertained for 90 minutes sitting still on my lap.

Argh! There are 2 threads going. Shall we close this one as the other one has slightly more traffic on it? Could resurrect it when the other one is full as the title is cool Smile

Dont want to tread on your toes though Wideawakenurse!
