I see loads of women swanning around in lovely flowing dresses in the nice weather. I must have tried on 1598658 of them and look hideous in them all. None of them flatter me, and I feel they make me look preggers.

What do you guys wear?

Btw I am 5 foot 4, so not very tall and a size 8.

I thank you Smile

I find styles that are elasticated at the waist are most flattering and don't make you look pregnant.

Something like this . I have tried that dress on and looks great and I am 5 foot 3 and size 8.

I am short and size 8 and struggle with full length dresses too. Slim sheeth styles suit me but very little else.

I have the dress tragicallyhip linked to and hve to say it is lovely on - very flattering and the waist is defined so gets rid of the preggars look.. even though i could pass as at term triplet pregnancy1

also am very happy it was picked by someone with that name - hope not being ironic!

It is a lovely dress! I didn't buy it tho, trying not to buy anything new unless needed Sad . I really wanted to try it on and had ordered something else so I thought I'd add to my bag Blush

I have this one www.mandco.com/dresses/crochet-trim-maxi-dress/invt/1204998fuchsia/# and it's the most flattering thing I own.

I just bought myself two at the weekend as I too have been seeing lots about and have been quite envious!

I have this one and I love it! Its kinda empire line / nipped in under the boobs and just hangs fairly straight so doesn't make me look like a sack of spuds like some of these dresses do. For info I am 5 foot 5 and a size 14.

I also have this one from Tesco which is great. Similar drapey style rather than the more voluminous cottony ones.
