Ok stylish ladies, I'm on my third Longchamps handbag and people are telling me that it is starting to look a little passe as it is now such a common sight in London.

So I need a durable everyday handbag, under a £70 max £100, waterproof, able to go on the shoulder, must have a zip or properly secure, about A4 size, not too structured, not too floppy. Help!!!!! Any colour apart from black.

I like this but not the price.

Love that peony & moore bag MrsSnow...... there is an argument to say, pay more but only pay once..... I have bags from them and they are really very good quality...

I have that bag Mrs Snow ! ! - it is really worth every penny as it it is lovely leather and so roomy it holds all my crap - er -um - useful things including my laptop, bottle of water and it has an across the body strap for when you want to be handsfree - - they sent me an email so use code Easter11 at checkout and it will give you £15 off ! - - I have so many people ask me where I got mine from - very unusual but great useful bag!!

MrsSnow · 26/04/2011 12:14

strictlysauvignon does it fit under the arm nicely? Could I fit a coat over the bag bit and then an arm (if you follow)?

Seriously considering!

Mrs Snow - depends on the coat! - yes to normal thicknesses - but as you have a very long adjustable shoulder strap with it too ( a lovely blue/beige stripe like the Anya Hindmarch ones!) you could do that anyway with whatever type of coat and then adjust the long strap to whatever length you want it to be. - Iykwim.
You can always send it back if it's not right anyway - --

Mine does mrssnow, I have the Antonella (same bag but in calf hair) and its plenty big enough on the arm for coats/cardi etc as well as your arm. Grin..
