Swiwear for tall folk

I can't do bikinis or tankinis.

I need a cossie, but none of the prettier styles are long enough for my long bod.

Something with tummy control' would be good, too, as have a bit of a jelly belly.

Any hope for me?

ooh... just got a longer body one with tummy control in BHS of all places!! about about £28

Swimwear is pretty much the only thing I would consider buying from Long Tall Sally - but they do have some OK ones, and prices vary - I have a similar one by Seaspray and it's great for the pool.

Brilliant, thanks.

Hate LTS so much that completely forgot about them. But their swimwear isn't too bad! Will look at BHS, too.

Ta!

Lands End do some tall ones, quite pricy though, M+S too, but cheaper; dont rate LTS at all, bought one last year mail order dreadful quality, wish Id sent it back!

I was looking through swimwear on Next and saw they do some swimsuits in Tall sizing (5'10'' and up)

I'm getting this one... for post-baby-belly-hiding/ no-strap-marks-tanning ...

wouldnt normally do Next but Seafolly bikinis are off the menu now :(

I 2nd Bhs for swimwear (only for swimwear!) for tall ladies.

Also, do try on a tankini if you go there as you may be surprised - theirs are longer in the body than others and meet the bottoms with no gap so no tummy bulging out.

They are so much comfier than having a swimsuit constricting and pulling your shoulders down if you are taller. I have a few from there and wear them with their shorts style bottoms and it also works well if you mix and match with different colours (ie they have a nice khaki colour which works with their chocolate brown - v. flattering) and they are the best swimwear I have ever had.

I have a seaspray swimsuit. I tried it on in Long Tall Sally and then bought on eBay for £30 cheaper!!

I just ordered one from LTS but it's too short in the body. I'm not freakishly tall, only 5ft11, but do have a long torso. I have never managed to find a swimming costume that fits, but definitely too out of shape for a bikini. The M&S site had some nice ones, but they were all sold out in my size. Will try BHS.
