Where to buy lovely but comfy shoes?

Over the last wee while I've promised myself that I will only buy good quality, comfy shoes as I want to be nice to my aging feet - I've stuck pretty much to Clarks and M&S recently and love the shoes/boots I've got there, but where else would you recommend in a similar price/quality range.

I would just like to point out that I am stylish and do have good taste (even if i do say so myself) and do not touch the more grannified shoes in either of the above shops with a bargepole!!!

Look forward to your suggestions!

Hush Puppies have some nice shoes at the moment and are very comfortable - quite a few with a lowish heel (scroll down a bit).

Unisa have some good ones... they sell them at Shoon, if you can get to a Shoon store you'll like it as they sell all sorts of shoes from frumpy to fab but they are ALL comfy.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies - had totally forgotten about Hush Puppies, love the look of their site. Also, Shoon looks good - unfortunately they don't seem to have any stores in Scotland, but will have a good browse on their site too.

Important decisions are always made while having a wee!

:) I had to really think to work out what you were talking about there!!!

I've always got on well with duo boots. I know it's just coming to summer, but they also do shoes (and possibly sandals). All width fitted and I've always been pleased with quality.

I think it sounded funnier in my head! I have a few pairs of shoes from Next and find them very comfortable and I have big feet. I bought these after a recommendation on this board.
