pics on profile. I need a dress for a wedding and a summer ball. Are they too short for a wedding? Are they not fancy enough for a ball?

What shoes? What to wear over? Help, I'm clueless!

They would be ok for a wedding but not for a ball.

They are both lovely and you have a fantastic figure. I like the pinky/red one - i'd go for that for the wedding. IMO the green one isn't fancy enough for a ball tbh - it looks more an everyday wear iyswim?

Oh god, I really am clueless. I really liked those dress and they're pretty 'dressy' for me, and now I find out that in fact they're 'everyday'. What kind of thing for a ball then? I've tried on so many already, and the only criterion I've settled on is that it must have straps, I can't spend the whole evening hoiking my dress up.

That's lovely deemented, but the reviews seem to say it's a bit long, even with heels. I was hoping for a short dress, but maybe that's where I was going wrong for the ball?

Anyway, I've settled on the pink for the wedding, but really need help with shoes etc. I've got a pale pink wrap that looks good with it, but don't know where to start with shoes.

How about a cocktail dress for the ball? Not necessarily this one but as an idea of a shape.

why not some strappy sandals with heels in silver maybe? some nice ones around ( sorry no links) think dune has good range at the mo.. sure somebody more with it will come along soon ...

I'd be tempted to go for shoes in either a pale pink or nude to pick out the colours on the dress (the big flower looks fairly pale?) or silver if you want something dressier. How about

Thanks, I was thinking pale pink/nude, but wasn't too confident with my own ideas! I like a couple of those you linked to, going to have to learn to walk in proper heels :)
