Pregnant and NOT glowing! How do I fake it?

I look grey and dull. My hair is dry and limp and I'm not getting my hair cut until the second week in May.

What would help me look better? I am so happy to be pregnant I wish I looked it instead of looking well, hungover/ill?

How far along are you?

I looked like shit until about 6 months when I suddenly looked AMAZING.

In the meantime, I don't think you should worry about what you look like when pregnant. You are growing another human being inside you. You can look however you damn well want Grin

Im 27 weeks. You are right though, I am growing a new life. I am a mother ship!
What's bugging me is:
I looked all glowly and amazing in my first pregnancy- I now have a little one to contend with I look tired because I am! Also been anaemic so still look a bit rough from that.
I'm going to a close family wedding soon I want to look lovely.

Maybe a gradual tan moisturiser? Bit of colour might help? Oh I don't know! Least I don't have to worry about looking fat and wearing spanx for once :)

Try a face exfoliater - I love Soap and Glory scrub your nose in it, use in the shower x2 week then moisturise. A gradual face tanner is great, try Dove or Johnstons and use every morning until you get a golden colour then leave it a day or 2.
I had bad skin 1st time and good the 2nd. Hormones! But hopefully the above should help Smile

Thank you, I was just looking at soap and glory stuff in Boots yesterday!
Will try the gradual face tanner. Which is best?
I need a body one too but not a yellowy tan if that makes sense?

I hear the weather has been lovely in the UK recently. I'd probably just stay in the sun as much as possible and get a bit of a real tan.

I can totally empathised with you ! Firstly Fake tan, I use L'oreal Sublime Bronze (the tinted one so I can see where you've put it!), really easy to use, doesn't smell and lasts a week, also manicures and pedicures really make me feel better, if you don't have the time/money just paint them a nice colour. I also get my eyebrows waxed and tinted (i'm fair) this makes me look instantly more awake and alert. The more groomed you are the better you feel even if you're tired. If you've time get a blow dry on the morning of the wedding, have fun!
