Ok am looking for a casual maxi dress to see me through summer.Already have 2 lovely monsoon ones from last year but they are dressy so tend to keep them for going out etc. Want one that I can just fling on in morn, school run, shopping etc.
Vitals are 5 ft 6, size 14(have norks). Dont want anything with little silly straps as need to wear a bra and budget is £30 max. Go......

have you tried H&M or New Look?

pink4ever · 21/04/2011 16:52

Yes was in both of those shops today. All their dresses seem to have the spaghetti straps or halternecks(which cant do either as have wide shoulders).

FebreezeYourJeans · 21/04/2011 17:11

am I close?

FebreezeYourJeans · 21/04/2011 17:12

great reviews but the fabric might be a bit....cheap?

MadreInglese · 21/04/2011 17:13

or Debenhams perhaps?

FebreezeYourJeans · 21/04/2011 17:14

like this but racing back might create bra problems

pink4ever · 21/04/2011 18:53

I like the second one febreeze but sadly dont think it would like me!! def no to racer backs as they also exaggerate my broad shoulders. They do have a couple in Peacocks but am not sure of the prints? Can somone please do a link so that I can get some opinions?. Thanks.

Try this site. Someone linked to it the other day and I thought it was pretty good for maxis.
