What should I buy in NYC?!

Going on a trip and want to pick up some clothes, make-up and skincare (if I can cram it all in my suitcase)! What do you lot recommend I go for please?

If you find a Filenes Basement or Loehmans make sure you go in as many bargains to be had - designer brands at cheapo prices. There's also a great Century 21 - its very big and always busy but if you're a 'rooter' you'll find plenty of stuff in there. Converse are also a hell of a lot cheaper as are Uggs.

Cosmetics - I found Duane Reade great for all kinds of stuff (makeup and medicinal) and the other drugstore that i can't remember the name of! Hopefully another poster will know which one i mean. Sephora also for branded cosmetics/skincare.

I'll shall post again when i can get my brain into gear and try to remember where i got the best bargains.
