I can pull together a stylish winter wardrobe, oh yes, but come summer I just get all confused........

I really struggle with outfits in the summer. normally wear jeans, flip flops and little tops and vests.

Won't wear shorts in the UK
Won't wear maxi's

What so you think is a summer staple?

I feel your pain. I find dressing for warm weather in the UK next to impossible.

I'd like to say that a have a selection of cute cotton dresses that are effortlessly right - in fact, I tend to wear jeans and be too hot or a skirt and then spend the day catching sight of my hideous white legs and feeling sorry for myself.

I wear a lot of skirts and vests/t-shirts and a few dresses (as well as jeans and tops). I also have a couple of maxi dresses - but can only do jersey otherwise I look 6 months pregnant

Lightweight trousers in that nice caramelly/ camel shade for me. Zara have great cheap ones.

I think that's a British thing, and I count the Irish in there too. I have lovely boots, stylish skirts, little black dresses, thick black tights, belted coats, scarves, dark coloured jumpers in a variety of muted colours and styles................

But in the summer? it all seems to go wrong. It's never warm enough for dresses and I feel a bit exposed and silly in pale colours.

i live in a mixture of cream, white, black, khaki, brown and beige most of the summer. long linen trousers, capri trousers a few tops, some lightweight cardigans and shrugs. everything matches just add some gold or chunky wood jewellery

A summer staple. I had thought grey jeans would be a good idea, but I'm wearing them now and instead of summery I feel a bit dull.

Camel coloured trousers might be a good idea. Iwill look out for a pair.
