Sorry I'm sure this has been done before but I don't usually come on this board and couldn't seen it in the first few pages.
I am looking for the best cheap fake tan.I want one that builds up gradually to avoid streaky effect.I have fair skin. And do i really need a different one for my face ?
Any suggestions welcome

I'm v fair - tried Johnsons and was too yellow and streaked. The Dove one for fair to med skin I have been using for 10 days or so and I am very happy - have received compliments. But i'm not too over the moon that it's glittery.

Will watch with interest.

San Tropez... not cheap, but for £18 or £20 you get a bottle that lasts 2 years!

How often were you using it nightsky? I'd make that about once every 4 months Grin!!

twice a week sleep... but only from late April through to about early September. Didn't use on holiday or for two weeks after either.

Have you considered a wash off one? I got pretty sick of the patchiness of a build up tan, no matter how careful i am or how well i exfoliate i ended up with those patchy bits and uneven fading. I now use the fake bake beyond bronze, instant wash off tan in light/med/matte. It is brill. Smile

chipstick -does it stain your clothes?

It hasnt on mine but i will level with you, i dont use it all over, i cant be arsed tbh. I use it on arms, legs and a bit on chest and neck. Its quite natural and i use it very sparingly as i like a very light natural covering. My dd loves it and uses it alot more than me and i must say i dont notice it loads on her clothes.

Superdrug's own gel, applied with a mitt. Fantastic on my white with a hint of blue legs. Grin Just make sure you exfoliate and apply to knees and ankles last.

I use St Tropez mousse. For my face I simply mix some of the mousse with my usual moisturiser.
